Easter Chickette

Happy Easter!

The school Easter holidays began Wednesday afternoon so my craft time has been cut down drastically! Actually, it's lots of fun doing things with the boys but don't tell them!

Today I'd like to share an Easter card I made for the Fiskarettes UK DT. It's a simple aperture card with a cute chick peeking out. I used the free Trimcraft Easter downloadable papers which are great fun to use.

Thank you for taking the time to look and any comments are much appreciated.

Be Lucky!

As it's St Patrick's Day I thought it appropriate to blog a make with a four leaf clover which is also over on the Fiskarettes UK FB page. It's a simple circle easel scalloped card.

The clover has been made using a Fiskars medium lever punch and I've glittered and lifted the edges to add texture.

For extra interest I've added a button with twine and used the same twine for the stalk.

Thank you for looking and any comments are much appreciated.

Mother's Day Window Box Card

IHappy Tuesday!

I've made a window box card for Mother's Day using Fiskars punches. It's on the Fiskarettes UK FB page today complete with a step by step tutorial.

I used a heart punch for the leaves and the very pretty eglantine punch for the little flowers. I find punches are a great way to use up scraps of papers!

Thank you for looking and your comments are much appreciated.

Papermania Geometric Neon Cards

Happy Saturday!

I've made a couple of cards using the Papermania Geometric Neon papers. I love these papers as they're bright but not OTT and the gold foiling gives me my bling fix :)

The first card features a birthday girl and her sister.

The girls' Mum sent me 2 photos so I used one on the back of the card together with the Fiskars intricate love punch and small lever punch for the hearts:

For my second use of the papers I opted for pink neon highlights and made a Mother's Day card.

On both the cards I used the Papermania neon adhesive gems to embellish the cards.

Enjoy your weekend!
