Celebrating Books - Daring Cardmakers DT

Happy Friday!

It's international book day so the Daring Cardmakers would like to share in the celebrations by showcasing cards that focus on books and their heroes!

I had the perfect stamp set in mind for this challenge and used my watercolour pens to colour in the images.

The background was smooshed oxide inks and I lay part of a die cut on the top before adding a frame followed by the images and sentiment.

You can see lots more inspiration for the challenge HERE and I do hope you'll join in!

Enjoy your weekend whatever you do,
Shabneez

  12. Oooooh, I love this so, so much! As a child my mother put out a limit on how many books my sister and I were allowed to borrow per library visit...
