Chapeau Box - Tonic Studios

As you can expect from Tonic Studios, the die set comes with everything you need to create the gift box, including instructions.  I added patterned paper to mine which was very easy to do and then added the filigree floral die cut on top.  I used Nuvo drops in the centres of the flowers.

I kept the box relatively simple as I wanted it to showcase the bow so added only a few flowers with Nuvo drop centres on the corner of the box.

There's a fabulous new release today of the Sweet & Treats Tagine from Tonic Studios. Definite Moroccan vibes coming off this one!

The set makes 2 different sized gift boxes and has a lot of dies to embellish the boxes.

I made the largest gift box first and went for a Moroccan colour combination.  The set has dies to create the cute tassels too.  I added some glitter Nuvo drops to my creation.  

Next, I made one of the smaller gift boxes and added beads to this one along with the tassels.  Again, there is a die in the Set to help you make these.  I like that there are 2 options for the feet too.

For my final gift box I opted to make another small one using the Here Comes Summer Paper Collection as I was feeling in a holiday mood after making the other 2!  I love the 'Oh Go On Then!' sentiment die - made me smile.

Mystic Book Nook - Tonic Studios

It's been lovely the past couple of days so a good end to the half term.  Another brand new Tonic Studios release today of the second in their series of book nooks.  The first was a Christmas/winter themed one and this a wonderful mystic themed one.

This is the book nook from the back, you can see the foiling that I have added.

This is the how it looks from the front.  You get everything you need to create a wonderful scene. 

I love the 3D effect and I added Nuvo drops to the foliage and bullrushes to give additional texture.

Adding some detail to the tree with the Nuvo white gel pens helps bring it alive.

I loved working with this die set and it makes the most amazing stacked gift box!  For my first make, I decided to make a 3 tiered gift box in more traditional colours and I used the stunning dies from the set to embellish it. 

For my next gift box I opted for a smaller 2 tiers and used the Vintage Vignette papers along with the floral dies from the set.

Here you can see one of the stacks open and you can see it's a good size.

Scoops & Sprinkles - Tonic Studios Craft Kit 92

I didn't realise it had been so long since I last posted - doesn't time fly!  It's not that I haven't created, in fact I've been really busy but just haven't blogged.

Today is the 20th of the month which means it's time for the latest Craft Kit from Tonic Studios - Scoops & Sprinkles which is apt considering the fine weather we have been having.

This really is a fabulous Kit full of everything you need to make gift boxes like the ones above and cards too!

I first made the Sundae gift box which was easy to put together and then I set about decorating it with the various dies.  I used the papers from the paper pad in the Kit for the glass.

Next, I made the cute ice cream cone gift box and used the papers from the pad to cover the whole box.  I even cut out the waffles on the top with it.  I added a ribbon for the closure.

For my final creation I made a card using the embellishment mousse as a messy background (kind of like spilt ice cream) and I used the embossing folder on the hexagons then added ice creams made from the dies in the set and added Nuvo drops to finish.  I used the sentiment from an older Tonic Studios stamp set - Creative Pastimes Collection Stamp Set.

Perfect Percolator - Tonic Studios

Today I'm sharing the new release of the Perfect Percolator Die Set by Tonic Studios  My affiliate links, at no cost to you, with thanks:

This was a fun set to create with and very quick and easy to put together.

For my first gift box I used the dies from the set which are coffee themed of course! The next one I used the papers from Cherish Moments collection which made such a pretty little gift box.

For my final gift box I used coffee themed papers from a previous Craft Kit which worked so well and I added some die cut coffee beans to decorate.  You can see the box open.

Butterfly Frames - Tonic Studios Craft kit 91

We've had a lovely Easter break from school and feel refreshed and ready to start the routine again on Tuesday.

Being the 20th of the month it is time for a new Craft Kit from Tonic Studios - Butterfly Frames.  My affiliate links, with thanks:

This month's Kit is really pretty and contains a double die set, transfers, embossing folder, Nuvo drops, Embellishment Paste, White gel pens, cardstock and more!  For my first creation I decided to make a fun fold concertina card using the beautiful arched dies and I added transfers to the base and the butterflies.

For my next make, I made another card, a different style, using the dies and adding Nuvo drops and the white gel pen around the edges.

For my final creation, I devised a gift bag, complete with butterfly closure!  This was fun to make with the arched dies and I added a strip from the butterfly embossing folder on the front and used the Nuvo Embellishment paste on top to make it pop.
