Let's Do Lunch - Time For Tea Designs DT

Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week has gone well so far. I'm finding the loss of time through school runs are impacting my workload so I'm having to work longer hours to get things done. I'm hoping I'll get back into the swing of things soon though!

Today I'm sharing a fun rocker card and a scene I made using products from the latest Time for Tea Designs release. The scene was was in my head as I had a vision of what ants do after they take food from a picnic. In my mind they go down their tunnel and share the food with their friends and family!

The rocker base is made from a circle of card folded in half and then a slightly smaller circle die cut and stuck on the top. I added a fun sentiment from the set to the sun together with some die cut clouds and grass.

The colouring of the images was all done with my Chameleon pens and I added Tonic Nuvo Drops to the centres of the daisies to add a little texture.

Everyday With You Is A Picnic - Time for Tea Designs DT

Happy Wednesday!

My time with my parents has come to an end for now and I've just got back back home as the boys start school next week. We had a great time with them and we'll miss them but at least it won't have to be another 6 months before we see them again!

The August Time for Tea Designs Release was on air on Create & Craft yesterday and there are a number of newly released die and stamp sets. I've chosen to showcase one of my Show samples using the Landscape Edge and Scene Builder die sets together with the Bears Picnic stamp set.

I enjoyed putting this scene together, imagining sitting under the shade of a tree having my picnic. It brought back memories of when I used to take the boys for a picnic in the park when they were little - so much fun!

My images were coloured in using my Chameleon pens and I used a mix of cardstock - both patterned and plain to create the scene.
