It's A Love Story - Daring Cardmakers DT

Happy Friday!

My Mum has come to stay for a few days and we're all excited to have her as it's been a few years since she last came.  We've been in the kitchen, cooking new dishes this morning hence the late post!

Over on the Daring Cardmakers, Joanne has set this week's challenge which is based around International Literacy Day.  I have gone with a love story as I'm such a romantic at heart :)  I've also used dictionary definitions with the background paper and highlighted appropriate words relating to my theme.

The most fun I've had all week is playing with my new infusions and I was pleased with the effects I achieved.  I used less on the background then went all out on the heart.

I hope you'll take a look at the other inspiration over on the Daring Cardmakers blog HERE and join in.

Have a wonderful weekend - I'm looking forward to another family wedding!

    1. Hi Shabneez I've just read your comment on my blog...yes you're right I had misunderstood..id taken your comment to mean that your Mum lived so far away it made it difficult for you to see her. You sound like me and my Mum..very close. Thanks for coming by. Take care Lea x
