Octavia Bow Gift Box - Tonic Studios

Today I am sharing a brand new release from Tonic Studios of the Octavia Bow Gift Box.  My affiliate links, at no cost to you, with many thanks:

I used the newly released Foil Fusion Simple Stripes on the base of my box and papers from the Supreme Succulents Paper Pad on the sides and for the bow itself.

The box is a really good size and you can fit a lot inside it. I made the bow a little extra special by adding additional bits so they hang over.

I also used the die set to make a card which has a detachable bookmark on it so a gift and card in one if you like.  For this I also used the other newly released Hearts & Stars Foil Fusion sheets and papers from the Have A Heart Paper Pad.

Not sure where this week has gone but I've worked really hard and am looking forward to having a break over the long weekend. 

The Daring Cardmakers would like to see you use vellum this week.  I decided to make an little pocket for my bookmark out of vellum so that the wording on the bookmark still showed through.

I predominantly used a Hunkydory collection then added a Craftwork Cards sentiment and some die cut leaves.

The WRMK Envelope board punch came in handy to make my envelope and I used coloured vellum which I think goes well with the design.  I'm a fan of coloured vellum as it means you can still see through but with added colour.

Rainbow Bookmark Card - Time for Tea Designs DT

Happy Wednesday!

We've still not had any thunderstorms my end but hoping they will come soon so that it might cool things down a little. I'm having an iced coffee as I write this post, I can't manage hot drinks at all!

Today I'm sharing a card and gift in one that I created with the Time for Tea Designs Rainbow Mini Shaker Die.

I began by creating the bookmark which is a die from the Hello Rectangle Stitched Border Die set.  I stamped stars from the All Occasions Stamp set for the background then stamped, coloured and cut out the very cute raccoon as my focal character.  I thought it made sense to have him on the bookmark as he was carrying some stationery and looked studious!

I added some more background stamping to the base of my card then I die cut the rainbows twice and added holographic card making sure not to adhere a couple of the arches so that the bookmark can slot into it.
