Celebrate Gift Card - Tonic Studios Craft Kit 90

Looking back, it's been a while since I posted on my blog however this will change next week as I have a lot of blog posts to cover being Tonic Studio's March Madness Week.

Today I am sharing my creations using the latest Craft Kit 90 - Celebrate Gift Card and my affiliate links are here, with thanks:

So the Kit has all the elements you will require to make gift card holders very simply and so that's what I did for my first make. I made use of all the pretty coloured cardstock in the Kit and added a rolled up flower from the die set too. You just pull the tab to show the gift card.

Next, I decided to make a card with the gift card holder on the front - save you buying a card! I used the embossing folder from the Kit and I love the sentiments and the balloons.  I added some Nuvo drops from the Kit to finish.

For my final make I opted to make a handbag from the die set and put it on a background made from the shimmer powder from the Kit.

I stamped on the handbag and added flowers.  Just goes to show you can use dies in many different ways, not just how they were intended!

Once Upon A Time Keepsake Die Set - Tonic Studios Birthday Release

This is truly a beautiful book, perfect for a gift.  I used a mix of Craft Perfect cardstock together with printed paper from the Shabby Meadow Art Pad.

There are elements which you can die cut to create a 3D scene inside.  I added ink very lightly to certain elements.

I used the foiled adhesive sheets and rose gold foil for the sentiments and the frame here.

The die set enables you to create a beautiful paper tassel too.  You could add photos in the frame - the possibilities are endless!

I made a Father's Day gift set with mine as you can see above.

The actual stackables come apart easily and you can make them as tall or short as you like.  I went for an ombre effect with my colours going from light to dark in shades of blue and I added highlights in silver mirri card.

The card is a quick and simple one using the dies from the set with the addition of a stamped sentiment to finish.

Marvellous Mosaic & Hexagons Die Set - Tonic Studios New Launch

I have no idea where this week has gone! It has just flown by and we are nearly at the end of half term already.  We've had a great week though.

Today, I'm sharing a new release from Tonic Studios of the Marvellous Mosaic & Hexagons Die Set.  My affiliate links are here, with thanks:

This die set is really versatile, it can be used in so many ways.  For my first card I used the hexagon outline and made it into a card base by cutting around the embossed lines.  You can see the various images that come with the set and I added a stamped sentiment from another set.

For my second card I die cut then inked over the flowers in distress oxide inks and added the sentiment which I also inked over.

I didn't get a chance to blog about the latest new release from Tonic Studios on Thursday but I thought I really should share what I have made!

I absolutely loved this set.  The stamp set has so many puns which go really well with both the tools and the bulbs in the die set.

I was tasked with making Father's Day cards and so for my first card I spelt out 'DAD' with the tools and added one of the sentiments from the set.

For my second card I made a space themed background then added my die cut bulbs and googly eyes.  Googly eyes make me smile and I loved the sentiment from the stamp set that I used.  The 'special father' was from another new stamp set which I have referenced below.

You know, my Dad would have loved these cards.  He was always my largest fan and we both used to love giggling over puns.

Let's Hear It For The Boys - Daring Cardmakers DT

Happy Friday!

What a morning - feels like I have been up forever already!  Thought I'd get a quick Sainsburys shop after the school run only to find you have to use the self serve machines as although there were many staff nobody on the tills! This meant it took a lot longer as I had done a big shop.  Will remember in future and stick to my online ones!

Today it is my turn on the Daring Cardmakers and I set a masculine themed challenge with Father's Day so near.

I made a fancy fold card using a very old paper pad from Docrafts that I bought preloved many, many years ago.  There are so few masculine themed papers so I keep and go back to the ones I have.

Remember When We Danced Memory Book - Tonic Studios Launch

Tonic Studios has been celebrating all this week with March Madness - new showcase products and offers every day.  Today it is the turn of their latest Memory Book - Remember When We Danced.

This is an extra special memory book set as it is a very good size and has a box with it which is great if you want to gift it or simply to keep your precious memories safe.

I have decorated this project with the new paper pads which have come out this week - the 8" x 8" is called Shabby Meadows and the 12" x 12" is Whimsy Meadows.

This is the memory book which shows off the papers really well.

Decadent Desk Decor Die Set - Tonic Studios New Launch

This was such a fun die set to create with and as you can see, it's a good size.  You could easily make 2 and keep them side by side.  It was easy to put together as well.  I added drawers to this one and filled them with paper clips.  I made my own little note pad too!

For my second Desk Tidy, I used the decorative dies from the set and die cut them from different coloured glitter card.  I decided against drawers this time and hung a note book on one side instead to make it like a notes section.

Amazing Aperture Box - Tonic Studios New Launch

I'm sharing a fabulous new launch from Tonic Studios today of the Amazing Aperture Box.  I fell in love with the way this box looks and had a lot of fun embellishing.  My affiliate links, at no cost to you, with thanks:

The Set comes with a die to make flowers and I used them to embellish my boxes.  For my first box I paper pieced one of the flowers and added the 'Hope This Brings A Smile' on the other side.

For my second box, I made pretty flowers again and used them with the leaf dies.  This time I added paper twirls.  I used different colours for the pretty aperture on the top and the 'Birthday Wishes' sentiment on the side.

I'm back again!  It's a busy week as Tonic Studios has Cyber Week which means a lot of new products are being launched and special offers too.  The first of these is a die set which has many different ways of decorating it.  My affiliate links, should you choose to use them with thanks, are here:

I made a gift set.  A decorated box, together with a fancy fold card made entirely from the Die Set.

The hexagonal box you can create is a really good size and there are so many ways in which you can decorate it.  I opted for the window scene and added window boxes to decorate.  There are dies to create shop fronts as well.

I'm a huge fan of fancy fold cards and got so excited when I realised I could make this one from the dies in the set.  It folds to fit in a 5" x 7" envelope as well.  It compliments the gift box.

You'll be pleased to know you get a day off from my blog tomorrow but I'll be back on Thursday!

It's been almost a month since I last blogged which is not like me at all but I'm hoping to get back into it.  Today is the launch of a new die set by Tonic Studios - the Elegant Armoire Gift Box Die Set.

This really is such an elegant set which makes different dressers and a wardrobe.

The dresser can have as many drawers as you want going up or across but I chose to make a couple so that I could add a mirror which I devised using the dies from the set.  I added rolled flowers from another die set and a little foliage before adding the key from the set.

For the wardrobe, I used the same decoration so it looked like a set.  It has shelves inside for you to put your gifts on and the lock mechanism is just fantastic.  I am always in awe of the designers at Tonic Studios.

The Thankful Harvest Die Set is packed full of elements to add to your creations and is very easy to put together.

You can make the box in 2 different ways either with or without a magnet.  You'll see below I opted not to use magnets on mine.

You can fill it with goodies of your choice - I went with chocolates!  The pocket you create as you open it is perfect for your gift cards.

As you know, I love creating cards so I made an autumnal themed one with the die set to show its versatility.  I love autumn!

Happy Friday!

It's all go here as we prepare for Eid tomorrow.  To be honest I'm not looking forward to it as it will be the first one without my Dad and he's always been a big part of the day for us.  My eldest made some doughnuts last night to take into school for his friends.

The Daring Cardmakers would like to see anything feather related on your cards this week.  I had fun with this one as when I was creating it as it was very sunny.

It felt good getting the bright colours out and this stamp set is a favourite of mine.  I used the Nuvo alcohol pens to colour in the flamingos.

The background was created using a stencil and distress oxide inks.  I love the sentiment so had to make the card fit it!

Number It! - Daring Cardmakers DT

Happy Friday!

I'm up on the Daring Cardmakers today with a challenge entitled 'Number It!  I want to see numbers on your card in whatever format you'd like - so on a background or at the forefront for a special birthday or anniversary.  I'd say I make the most cards with numbers on them!

My plan was actually to share the card I made for eldest son who turns 15 in a few days but I didn't get it done in time as I was waiting for something to dry - typical!  Instead I am sharing a card for a young lady which I was commissioned to make earlier in the month.

I used the Tonic Studios Scribble Frames for the frame and added papers, butterflies and dies from the Tonic Studios Handbags & Lipstick Die Set together with the Heartfelt Sentiment Die Set - details and links for these are at the bottom of my post.

I was tasked with making cards using the Set and I added various products from my stash too.

For my first card I decided to create a cotton reel shaped card from kraft card.  I wrapped ribbon around it and added the lace die cuts.  I added die cut pins that I put Nuvo drops on - don't they look realistic?  I finished the card by adding some more die cut elements to my card and a heat embossed sentiment.

For my second creation, I opted for a slimline card.  I used some of the patterned papers and stamps.  I went through the stencil with glimmer paste to give an added texture and chose coloured ink for my stamping to create a fresh looking card.

For my first creation I made an octagonal vase which is a really good size.  For this I used the latest Coral Skies collection to make it with as the colours are just so pretty!

For my second creation I made a vase with four sides.  I added a couple of decorative elements from another set.  The only one I haven't shown is the hexagonal one but it is similar to the octagonal one only smaller.
