Double Stencil Baby Card - Time for Tea Designs DT

Happy Wednesday!

Mid week already so can't be bad.  We've had notification the boys will definitely be returning to school on 8 March and they are both pleased - one more than the other as he will miss my lunches!

I'm sharing a baby card I made using a stamp and couple of stencils.  I really enjoy coming up with different ways to use or combine stencils.

I've used a die circle for the base and began by using my blender brushes and distress inks through the starry heart stencil.  I then masked the heart and used the scene it stencil to form the cloud background.

The little critter from the Occasional Critters Stamp set is just adorable isn't he?  I added some stars from the same set to make his little blanket even more cosy. In fact it reminds me of the baby blanket my youngest had.  Such wonderful memories! 

The image was stamped then coloured with my Chameleon pens and I added a little glitter glue to the cloud to make it sparkle.

Hanging On To Summer! - Time for Tea Designs DT

Hope you didn't miss me too much as I had to skip my usual Friday blog post.  It proved impossible with the amount of work I have on.  You'll be pleased to know I've been a good egg and drafted both my posts for this week!

Time for Tea Designs have a new release and among it is this Autumn Cover Plate die.  Now the name may suggest autumn but I found it's so versatile it works across all the seasons.  Today, I've kept with a summer look as I'm hanging on to it for a little while longer!

I die cut the elements on the set and then set about colouring them in using my distress oxide inks and beautiful blender brushes.  I also created a scene using the Scene It stencil.

The additional images and sentiment are all from the Life's Ups & Downs stamp and die set which I coloured in using my Chameleon pens.

Feeling Under The Weather - Time for Tea Designs DT

I think the card I've made for today's post is very apt given the mixture of weather we've had lately.  We've certainly been spotting a good few rainbows too in case you missed a real one I've added one to my card! 

Once again, I've used a couple of the Time for Tea Designs new release stamps sets - the All Occasion Critters and the Storms Don't Last Forever sets.

My background was made using the Scene It and Splish Splash stencils together with distress oxides.  I used the die cut rainbow from the Storms Don't Last Forever set and coloured with distress oxides.  I then added clouds that I stamped and die cut from the same set.

The cute cat was coloured with my Chameleon markers, die cut then adhered along with the sentiment.  I added splatters of water to the puddle to make it more realistic.
