Tiny Trunk Gift Box - Tonic Studios Launch

I'm back sharing another new launch by Tonic Studios!  This has to be the cutest little box and it has an amazing mechanism which allows it to roll to open and close.

It's so hard not to fall in love with this set and it's such fun opening and closing the boxes!

For my first box I embellished it using the decorative dies from the Set.

For my second box I decided to make a Gratitude Box with little notes that said what I was grateful for.  I decorated the box using the Autumn Sentiment Die Set together with the Golden Falling Leaves Die Set.

Always Autumn/Forever Fall - Daring Cardmakers DT

I have been missing with the Daring Cardmakers lately but today's challenge made me create this card in record breaking time as I love autumn.

The challenge gave me an opportunity to use the new Golden Falling Leaves stamp and die set together with the Autumn Sentiments die set by Tonic Studios.  

I have been thinking about how grateful I am for people in my life and the ability to do what I can even though things are tough for me at the moment.

A Walk On The Wildside - Tonic Studios Craft Kit Launch

It's the 20th of the month which can only mean one thing - the new monthly Craft Kit release by Tonic Studios!  The Kit is called 'A Walk On The Wildside' and I had so much fun with it.  You can see a reel on my instagram (simplyshabneez) of what is included in the box.

The die cut animals in the set are just so adorable.  There are 2 sets of dies and a fabulous stamp set which includes lots of co-ordinating sentiments.

For my first card I made the background by spattering the watercolour pens onto the card from the Kit and then arranging it on the base.  I die cut the sloth, frog and panda together with the various background elements from the Kit.  I stamped the sentiments and backed them onto black card to finish.

Both the tree trunk and the fabulous animal print are stamps from the Kit.  I loved the animal print so much I decorated the front of my card with it.  I want a dress in it!  This time I used the koala and the crocodile with the additional die cut elements.  The sentiment is just perfect I think!

Elegant Armoire Gift Box Die Set - Tonic Studios Launch

It's been almost a month since I last blogged which is not like me at all but I'm hoping to get back into it.  Today is the launch of a new die set by Tonic Studios - the Elegant Armoire Gift Box Die Set.

This really is such an elegant set which makes different dressers and a wardrobe.

The dresser can have as many drawers as you want going up or across but I chose to make a couple so that I could add a mirror which I devised using the dies from the set.  I added rolled flowers from another die set and a little foliage before adding the key from the set.

For the wardrobe, I used the same decoration so it looked like a set.  It has shelves inside for you to put your gifts on and the lock mechanism is just fantastic.  I am always in awe of the designers at Tonic Studios.

Billions of Butterflies - Daring Cardmakers DT

It's a good job the weather has been so good as I've managed to do loads of washing following our trip away.  Getting the last bits ready for school as it's not long now and I'm looking forward to both boys being in the same school once again as my youngest will join his big brother in secondary school!

I was tasked with setting the challenge for the Daring Cardmakers this week and I have opted for butterflies - Billions of Butterflies!  

I love using butterflies on my cards and my rocker card above uses them both on the topper itself as a focal point and I've added extras as embellishments. I used the Kanban 'A Touch of Blush' collection to create the card - both paper pad and toppers.

Marshmallow Hugs Craft Kit - Tonic Studios Launch

I'm back!  We had a wonderful family break in the Poole/Bournemouth area of the UK.

I wasn't expecting to blog today but it is the 20th of the month when the new monthly craft kit from Tonic Studios is released.  This month the theme is Marshmallow Hugs.  My links are:

For my first card I made a shaker card using elements from the box and adding a rocker base made using the Tonic Studios Circular Bloom Layering die set.  I'm sure you'll agree it's such a cute card.

For my next card I used a stencil to create the starry background.  As I seem to be spending a lot of time in the kitchen with the summer holidays, I had an idea to hang the cups on hooks so created them!  The cups all have different die cut inserts as well as other dies to add interest.

Beautiful Bevelled Star Die Set - Tonic Studios Launch

The Tonic Studios Birthday launches will continue for another 2 days but today is my last product to share.  It is the Beautiful Bevelled Star Die Set and I had a lot of fun with this set.  My affiliate links which cost you nothing are here:

The Set contains all the dies you need to make the star shaped box which can have a flat or 3D lid.  You can see above I made one with a flat lid and used the 3D elements to create a removable decoration on a card.

I used a striped background for my card to make the star pop on it.  It's such a pretty decoration and all you need is some string to thread through the hole and put on your tree or ribbon if you want to use it as a wall decoration.

I made sure the card looked pretty and had a sentiment once the decoration was removed too.  

You can see the box in more detail above.  I loved the foliage elements in the set and had fun decorating the box.
