Spooky Sweet Gift Bag - Tonic Studios Craft Kit 96

It's the 20th of the month so time to share the latest monthly Craft Kit from Tonic Studios.  This one definitely has a spooky feel to it!

These gift boxes are really easy to put together and are such a lot of fun!  For the first one I used the transfers from the Kit together with the Nuvo drops.

For the next one I decided to use the different dies from the Kit.  That ghost is so cute!

For my final one I used the stamps from the set and added die cut spiders and a skeleton using the transfers.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I created.  I have a reel showing the contents of the Kit as well.

Eye of Newt Potion Bottle Die Set - Tonic Studios Launch

Happy Thursday!

Today is the launch of the brand new Eye of Newt Potion Bottle Die Set from Tonic Studios.

These are such fun potion bottles to make and don't take a long time either.

For my first make I opted to make a poison bottle which was a lot of fun and I used the creepy crawlies too.

For my second make I used the eyes and made a spider themed bottle.

You could fill these up with small sweets as a Halloween treat!

Halloween Inspired - Daring Cardmakers DT

Happy Friday!

Week two of half term has come to an end but the plus point is it's not long until the Christmas holidays!  We've had fun catching up with family this week.

As it's Halloween on Sunday the challenge on the Daring Cardmakers is Halloween inspired.  I was rather happy about this as it gave me an opportunity to make a Halloween card which I love making but have nobody to send to!

It all began with a die cut frame with a tree in black to which I added a background made using distress oxide inks through a stencil.

All the images were stamped, coloured with my Chameleon pens and then added to the background to complete the fun scene.

You can see lots more inspiration HERE from the rest of the DT and I hope to see you join in.  Remember it doesn't have to be a Halloween card - just inspired by it so the colours, a black cat, pumpkin etc.

Spooktacular Creations - Daring Cardmakers DT

Happy Friday!

As promised I am back with another spooky creation as the Daring Cardmakers want to see all your Spooktacular creations this week.

I had fun with this one as the ghosts are just so cute and definitely too cute to spook!  Both the ghosts and the sentiment were die cut along with the frame.  The ghosts were die cut out of glitter card so they sparkle!

The background was created with distress oxides blended through a stencil then some paint spatters to finish.

Boo! - Time for Tea Designs DT

Happy Wednesday!

Mid week already - where does the time go?  I thought I'd better start sharing my Halloween cards this week as it'll be over before we know it!

Today's card is using the Spooktacular Stamp set from Time for Tea Designs.  It has some great elements on it and a co-ordinating die set too.  In fact the entire Halloween range is on offer as a bundle at the moment!

I used the Quilted Squares to die cut the squares and then I stamped different elements in each.  I added some stamped and coloured images using my Chameleon pens too. 

For the fun element I punched a couple of circles and added googly eyes in one!  After all, Halloween wouldn't be complete without googly eyes!

Angie's Digital Stamp Challenge DT - Challenge 14 (October 2017)

Happy October!

A spooky start to the month from me with a new challenge over on Angie's Digital Stamps that has an optional twist of spooky/scary.

I've used the Halloween Digital Set for my make which includes the sentiment and witch's hat.

I had fun making the background using distress inks and spritzing a light mist of water at the end.  I coloured the image using my Zig pens.

To finish I added some strips on my black card base and enamel dots for extra interest.

Halloween Pop Up Box Card

Yes, I really am blogging. It feels like it's been so long and it probably has! 

Today, I'd like to share a fun card I made for the Fiskarettes seasonal challenge. It's a pop up box card that I've decorated with various Halloween related die cuts. 

I had to use orange, purple, black and green as part of the challenge. I enjoyed making it and I think crafting should be fun shouldn't it?

Hopefully, I'm back on track with my blogging as my finger is out of the bandage which makes it much easier to craft.
