It's the 20th of the month and time for the latest Craft Kit release from Tonic Studios.  It's a fabulous Kit this month comprising of a double die set, stamps, cardstock and 8"x8" papers perfect to create gift boxes, gift card holders and I even made a memory book with mine!

For my first creations with the Kit I made a Bag Gift Set.  So the large bag can hold a gift of it's own or you can make the mini purse which can go inside it.  These papers reminded me of a famous designer brand.

This is the mini purse and inside you can put a gift card or in another one I added a perfume sample.

For my second make, I made another gift bag set using different papers and adding some stamping and a faux zip at the front along with some charms.

For my final creation, I made the bag into a mini memory book which was a lot of fun to do.  I used the Autumnal Moments paper pad for this one as we are coming up to Autumn.

Happy Sunday!

It's been a while but I only got back last night from a short stay in Cumbria.  It was wonderful to have an unexpected break with the family.

I am back in time for Tonic Studios Birthday Week and the celebrations kick off today with the brand new Craft Kit - Awesome Ocean.  There is a lot in this Kit - A double stamp and die set, cardstock, sequins, colouring pencils, acrylic block, paper pad, new watercolour ink pads etc.

I made a clean and simple card with elements from the paper pad which I hadn't done in a while and love how it turned out.

The next card I have made a reel for to show how I made it using the stamps, ink pads, sequins and colouring pencils.  You can view this on Tonic Studio's official social media channels.

It's a huge Kit this month with plenty for everyone and good for the time of year as well!

Celebrate Gift Card - Tonic Studios Craft Kit 90

Looking back, it's been a while since I posted on my blog however this will change next week as I have a lot of blog posts to cover being Tonic Studio's March Madness Week.

Today I am sharing my creations using the latest Craft Kit 90 - Celebrate Gift Card and my affiliate links are here, with thanks:

So the Kit has all the elements you will require to make gift card holders very simply and so that's what I did for my first make. I made use of all the pretty coloured cardstock in the Kit and added a rolled up flower from the die set too. You just pull the tab to show the gift card.

Next, I decided to make a card with the gift card holder on the front - save you buying a card! I used the embossing folder from the Kit and I love the sentiments and the balloons.  I added some Nuvo drops from the Kit to finish.

For my final make I opted to make a handbag from the die set and put it on a background made from the shimmer powder from the Kit.

I stamped on the handbag and added flowers.  Just goes to show you can use dies in many different ways, not just how they were intended!

It's the 20th of the month so time to reveal the latest monthly Craft Kit by Tonic Studios - Cafe Creations.  My affiliate links, with thanks:

As I'm sure you can imagine from the name, this Kit is coffee shop themed, although you could equally make it tea or hot chocolate!

I made the cup and saucer first using the paper pad and dies from the Kit.  It was really simple to put together and I then went on to die cut a spoon and made a couple of biscuits from the dies too.  The cup is actually a gift box and has a hexagonal opening on the top to put your goodies into.

For my next creation, I made a slimline aperture card using the hexagon dies from the Kit and I die cut the biscuits from the paper pad.  I added Nuvo drops to finish.

A Cracking Christmas Gift - Tonic Studios Craft Kit 86

Hasn't it been cold?  We had snow all the way to school yesterday but thankfully it didn't settle, much to the dismay of my boys!!!

For my first creation I opted to make a box and there are so may elements and foil adhesive in the Kit which made it very easy.  I used paper for both my creations from the Winter's Veil collection.

Of course, I had to make a cracker as well!  The Kit has 2 different versions you can make.  Mine is the traditional one but you can make one which you slide open from the middle.

Today is the day the latest Craft Kit from Tonic Studios is launched.  Kit 81 is the Tiny Twist Box and my affiliate links are here, with thanks:

These boxes are just so cute!  They have a really clever twist mechanism where you turn the knob to reveal what's inside.

For my first box I used the various cardstock from the Kit and the dies.  I used the glitter marker to add highlights although you can't see them to well on the photo.

For my second box I heat embossed the stamps from the Kit in gold then coloured in using the colour pencils from the Kit.  I embellished with Nuvo drops from the Kit and added a little tag.

Jam Pot Gift Card - Tonic Studios Craft Kit Launch

The excitement has been building since I got the Craft Kit for this month as I really enjoyed creating with it.  As ever, my affiliate links are here with thanks:

For my first card I used the Jam Jar die set, as intended, as a gift card holder!  You simply pull the lid and the gift card is exposed.  There are many dies in the Kit which work so well together.

 

For my second creation I decided to do something totally different using the dies from the Kit.   I made a cute milkshake shaker card using the Embellishment mousse to create the textured background and adding stamped strawberries.

This really is such a fun Kit and one I am sure to use again.  You can see all the contents of the Kit on my instagram reel.

Hello Friend - Tonic Studios Craft Kit Launch

As it's the 20th of the month it's time for the reveal of the latest monthly Craft Kit from Tonic Studios.  Here are my affiliate links at no cost to you, with thanks:

A very feminine and floral Kit this month from Tonic Studios.  The elements are perfect for friendship themed cards or even Mother's Day which is just around the corner.

For my first card I opted to use the spotlight technique and I have a reel on my instagram showing how I made this card using this technique.  I added a heat embossed sentiment to the die cut 'friend' from the Kit and Nuvo Dream drops to finish.

For my next card I made a fancy fold card and used cardstock strips to make a background before adding one of the die cut panels from the Kit and a sentiment.

Finally for my last card I used the Nuvo Glimmer Paste from the Kit.  I die cut one one of the panels making it into a stencil.  With the spatula from the Kit, I spread the paste through it.  I added a die cut sentiment from the Kit to finish.

I decided to go with a Valentine theme for my box using everything from the box other than the printed papers and the Valentine stamp and die set.

I also made a co-ordinating Valentine's card to go with the set using the various elements from the dies.

Finally I made a celebratory card using the dies and other elements from the Box.  The only addition was of the sentiment.

As this will be my last post before Christmas I wanted to take the opportunity to wish those of you that celebrate a very happy Christmas.

Being the 20th of the month it is the release of the latest monthly craft kit by Tonic Studios.  The Craft Kit this month has a beautiful stamp and die set together with other products including alcohol pens.  My affiliate links are here:

My first card is a slimline one.  I only used the alcohol pens from the Kit to colour in my image which I then die cut with the co-ordinating die.  I die cut the little frames from the Kit and paper pieced some of the flowers.  I do love the colour combination in the Kit.

For my next card I picked a patterned paper from my stash and coloured the image using similar colours.  I kept the background simple so the image would pop on the card.  I added glossy accents to the boot this time.

It's a really pretty die set with sentiments for a variety of occasions that go so well with the image.  You can see a colouring video and an unboxing on my instagram (simplyshabneez).

Jingle Bells & Baubles - Tonic Studios Craft Kit Launch

It's that time of the month when the new Tonic Studios Craft Kit is launched.  This month has a very festive theme - perfect for Christmas!  My links, should you opt to use them at no cost to yourself:

Both these baubles are a really good size and can be used as gift boxes too.  They can be made to open in different ways depending on what's used.

I made the bauble from red card and added the decorative die cut elements in gold and silver.  I used ribbon for the closure in this instance.  The stamped label is from the die set as are the holly leaves.  I added the flowers from a different set to finish.

For the bell I used green card as the base colour then added gold glitter card to all the sides, apart from the front where I added red card and heat embossed the sentiment from the kit in gold.  I added holly leaves with berries, swirls and bells to finish.  For the closure I used little magnets.  It's a good sized box for little gifts.

I don't know where the first 2 days of the school holidays have gone.  Thankfully the snow has melted and it's milder so we've managed to fit some outdoor activities in.

For my first creation, I used the die to create a gatefold card.  It's so easy to do and I added other die cut elements.  Inside, I used the stamps from the kit and coloured in with my Nuvo Coloured Pencils.

For my second creation, once again all the dies and cardstock are from the Kit, I created a fun fold.  I used the Nuvo Glitter drops from the Kit to add some more decoration.

I think this may well be my last blog post before Christmas so I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

I was tasked with making cards using the Set and I added various products from my stash too.

For my first card I decided to create a cotton reel shaped card from kraft card.  I wrapped ribbon around it and added the lace die cuts.  I added die cut pins that I put Nuvo drops on - don't they look realistic?  I finished the card by adding some more die cut elements to my card and a heat embossed sentiment.

For my second creation, I opted for a slimline card.  I used some of the patterned papers and stamps.  I went through the stencil with glimmer paste to give an added texture and chose coloured ink for my stamping to create a fresh looking card.

Message In A Bottle - Tonic Studios Craft Kit 61 Launch

Happy Thursday!

It's the 20th of the month and time for the latest craft kit by Tonic Studios!  I absolutely loved creating with this Kit.  It has a mixture of papers including vellum, a printed paper pad, die set, stamp set and lots of other products to try!

For my first creation I sprayed the vellum with Mica Mist then added embellishment paste to the top and die cut waves - I love the texture and sheen.  I also used the vellum as my background and went over it with a couple of ink pads. I'm a huge fan of sentiments and love the ones in the set - the one I have used is a favourite of mine! 

For my second creation I made good use of the papers from the paper pad and made a scene using the shells and bottle dies.  Can you see how the crab is holding the sentiment like a sign?  It made me smile.
