Bird (Crafty Christmas 2024) - Daring Cardmakers DT

Fancy some Christmas card inspiration?  Well, you're in for a treat as the Daring Cardmakers have a whole host of Christmas themed challenges leading up to Christmas.  This is the second one and has the word prompt BIRD so you can choose anything with a Christmas theme that has a bird.

I have chosen a pretty decoupage set from Katy Sue Designs.  Most Christmas themed pictures have robins so it was good to see a different bird for a change!

On or at The Ball - Daring Cardmakers DT

Happy Friday!

It's been a while I know but lots going on with the boys back at school.  In fact we were out late at a school event last night.

The Daring Cardmakers have a fun challenge this week using a ball on your card or going to the ball!  I just happened to have a football themed order to make so this worked out very well for me!

I used a decoupage football set from Katy Sue Designs but didn't decoupage the main picture.  You can see the decoupage on the smaller square though.

I added patterned paper to brighten it up and some very old Kanban sentiments to finish.

Bloom & Grow - Daring Cardmakers DT

Happy Friday!

We are two thirds of the way through our month of fasting and it's been bliss having no school runs.  Both boys are back to school next week though but it'll be Eid soon after.

Bloom and grow is the theme for this week's Daring Cardmaker's challenge and Dawn wants to know what we intend to plant in our gardens.  This was hard as I tend to plant bulbs and don't remember what I plant so it's a bit of a surprise!  Therefore, I have a variety of flowers on my card.

I made a double frame card using frames and floral decoupage from Katy Sue Designs which is on Create & Craft on Monday 17 April.

This is the front of the card which I opted to keep simple as the frame would be open on display.  I added space on the back for a message.
