Deckchair Stripes & Sunny Spots - Daring Cardmakers DT

Happy Friday!

All that rain is doing wonders for our grass.  It was in a dire way but then we treated it and sowed grass seed and you can see real green grass now!  It clearly doesn't take a lot to make me happy at the moment does it?!

The Daring Cardmakers challenge today is a fun one.  It's using spots and/or stripes on your card.  I kind of thought the circle shape could be classed as a large dot on mine but the verdict's not out yet!!!  What do you think?

I used the Time for Tea Designs Sunnsy Side Up Stencil to make the stripes, highlighting the thank you on the card.  My panda bears were kept simple but I added a hair bow to one and a bow tie to the other.

Panda Love - Time for Tea Designs DT

Happy Wednesday!

The days are all out of sync this week because of the Bank Holiday and Eid.  It was odd celebrating with just the 4 of us but we managed to get in some zoom calls with family.

I've gone with a CAS card today and opted for the Time for Tea Designs Pandamonium Stamp set together with the Dotty Hearts Cover Plate die.  Sometimes you just need something simple to get the message across!

I love the Dotty Heart Cover Die as it gives a beautiful stitched effect that's perfect for any background.

I have coupled the Love sentiment die with stamps from the Say Anything Clear Stamp to create my sentiment.  My panda has been coloured with my Chameleon pens very subtly with the emphasis on the love letter!

Lucky For Some - Daring Cardmakers Challenge

Happy Friday 13th!!!!

Phew! I cut it fine this week as I've had the most Mothers' Day card orders ever so have been super busy with those.

So tell me are you superstitious?  I'm not in the slightest!  The Daring Cardmakers are balancing unlucky Friday 13th with the luck of the Irish as it's St Patrick's Day on Tuesday.  I had to research this one and found out in my studies that bamboo is lucky in the Chinese culture.  Luckily (Ha!) I had the perfect stamp set to fit the challenge!

I used the Time for Tea Designs Pandemonium stamp and die set along with a couple of die sets.

I cut and coloured lots of bamboo and leaves with my Chameleon markers and as a background I used the Time for Tea Quilted Square Die set which makes for the perfect backdrop for the panda.

Pandas! March 2020 InstaHop - Time for Tea Designs DT

Happy Weekend!

I did warn you yesterday that I'd be back today showcasing a few of the new products that will be released tomorrow by Time for Tea Designs.  They are giving away £55 worth of new release products through an Instagram Hop which begins at midday (GMT) today (Saturday) until midday (GMT) tomorrow (Sunday) so hope you join in!

I've used a few of the new release products on my creation above and they are all listed in the products used at the end of my post.  I stamped, coloured and die cut my pandas together with their accessories - the present, party hat, bow tie and balloons.

The paper pad is 6"x 6" square and is double sided with lots of very useful basic colours and patterns.  I used some striped paper across my card and die cut stitched squares out of the heart paper.  The 'Yay' is cut from the new HOORAY die which also comes with an additional panel.
