Tonic Studios Craft Kit 98 - Santa's Shaker Tags

Winter is definitely here!  I have been freezing this week and made the boys wear their winter coats as daytime temperatures were so low.  We even had snow yesterday!

This Craft Kit contained a wonderful variety of items perfect for making Christmas cards as I need a a lot more!  

I loved the foil adhesion sheets and the rolls of foil in this Kit and used them to make the sentiment, Christmas trees and candy cane.  There are also 2 packs of sequins and I used them in the shaker elements on my card.  

For the second card I used the bauble dies from the Kit and made another shaker.  The papers on both my cards are from the Twinkling Traditions paper pad which I recently purchased.

Just a heads up that it is Tonic Studios Cyber Week next week so I'll be sharing some of the new releases coming out.

As it's the 20th of the month there is a new release of the monthly craft kits from Tonic Studios.  The Chamfered Gift Box Kit is fabulous and you can see the unboxing on my instagram (simplyshabneez).

The Craft Kit has all the dies and stamps you need to create a gift box which you can see more clearly underneath.  It also contains a brand new 8" x 8" paper pad which is so pretty and I made full use of!

The box is very easy to put together and is a good size.  There are a number of sentiments you can add as a tag although I decided to stick mine on the front.  I added Nuvo drops from the Kit to finish.

Of course, I wanted to show off the papers from the pad a little more so used them to make a card with one of the dies and the ribbon in the Kit.  Something a little different.

I decided to use the papers and sentiment for an insert in my card too.  It finishes the card off beautifully.

It's the 20th of the month again and time for another fabulous Craft Kit from Tonic Studios.  This month is a fun filled launch perfect for the Summer.  My affiliate links, at no cost to you and with thanks, are here:

The Stamp & Die set in the Kit enables you to make a gift box in the shape of kitchen scales which is so much fun. 

I decided to add an extra element to my gift box and make some fruit drink recipe cards.  I added die cut fruit to each little card and added to the top of my scales.

For my second make I decided to make a CAS card predominantly using the stamp set.  I stamped out the images on small squares and coloured in with Nuvo alcohol markers from the Kit before adding Morning Dew drops to give a glossy look.  I like the fresh look of the card and the fun puns on the stamps!

I must admit I had fun with this Kit.  The Kit makes a pull flap card with lots of choices to embellish using the stamps and dies in the Kit.

Of course I couldn't resist making it into a fancy fold and adding those yummy chocolates you can die cut.

For my next card I decided to make a chocolate box card, you can't see the acetate so well on this photo but that's what I used.  The Kit enables you to make different sizes of chocolates, the ones above are the larger ones but I suppose they could be used as cookies.

Being the 20th of the month it is the release of the latest monthly craft kit by Tonic Studios.  The Craft Kit this month has a beautiful stamp and die set together with other products including alcohol pens.  My affiliate links are here:

My first card is a slimline one.  I only used the alcohol pens from the Kit to colour in my image which I then die cut with the co-ordinating die.  I die cut the little frames from the Kit and paper pieced some of the flowers.  I do love the colour combination in the Kit.

For my next card I picked a patterned paper from my stash and coloured the image using similar colours.  I kept the background simple so the image would pop on the card.  I added glossy accents to the boot this time.

It's a really pretty die set with sentiments for a variety of occasions that go so well with the image.  You can see a colouring video and an unboxing on my instagram (simplyshabneez).

Jingle Bells & Baubles - Tonic Studios Craft Kit Launch

It's that time of the month when the new Tonic Studios Craft Kit is launched.  This month has a very festive theme - perfect for Christmas!  My links, should you opt to use them at no cost to yourself:

Both these baubles are a really good size and can be used as gift boxes too.  They can be made to open in different ways depending on what's used.

I made the bauble from red card and added the decorative die cut elements in gold and silver.  I used ribbon for the closure in this instance.  The stamped label is from the die set as are the holly leaves.  I added the flowers from a different set to finish.

For the bell I used green card as the base colour then added gold glitter card to all the sides, apart from the front where I added red card and heat embossed the sentiment from the kit in gold.  I added holly leaves with berries, swirls and bells to finish.  For the closure I used little magnets.  It's a good sized box for little gifts.

October Elemental Inspiration - Daring Cardmakers DT

I'm back!  This time I am sharing my card for the latest Daring Cardmakers challenge.  Being the first of the month it is an elemental challenge and if you scroll towards the end of the page you'll see the inspiration.

I was itching to make use of the tortoise from the latest Tonic Studios Craft Kit so made a card just with him with a fun sentiment from the same set.

I added some Nuvo drops to the flowers to finish the card off.  Below you will see the image from which you need to pick 3 elements (colours count as 1).  I chose the tortoise, colours, flowers and blue square.

Follow Your Dreams Rainbow Box - Tonic Studios Craft Kit Launch

Today is the launch of the monthly craft kit from Tonic Studios.  You can subscribe monthly or buy the boxes individually every month.

I made a selection of items using elements from the box in different ways.  There is a stamp and die set together with Mica Mist, a box of coloured pencils, Nuvo drops, lots of cardstock and more!

The box is really easy to put together and is held closed by a scalloped lip.  I decided to use the colour pencils so stamped and coloured the images then stuck them on the box.  I added Nuvo drops to the scallop edge on the other side to finish.

Next up, I made an aperture card using the dies from the box.  I love that you get different varieties of cardstock - textured, glitter, mirror and pearlescent are all included.

Lastly, when I made this last card I was actually thinking of Eid which we will celebrate shortly.  I loved the mandalas and cut them out of the purple mirror card.  I sprayed mica mist on to the background card which gives a beautiful sheen in the light.  I added scallops from the die sets and added Nuvo drops to finish.
