Have A Treemendous Christmas! - Time for Tea Designs DT

Happy Wednesday!

I've spent a lot of time cleaning the house and then playing board games with the boys to relax!  It's been lovely and we've managed to watch some films together as well.  

Only 2 more sleeps to Christmas and I thought I'd share a fun festive card.  

I used the very versatile Christmas Surprises stamp and die set and coloured the images using my Chameleon pens.  I paper pieced the tree, using Nuvo drops for the baubles.

The background was created using a stencil with distress oxide inks blended through them creating a brick wall.  In my head I had the Christmas tree outside with the bunny trying to fix the lights and the other critter peeking out of the house holding the sign.

Picnic Plates! - Time for Tea Designs DT

How's your week been? Mine has been very productive thankfully with lots of projects completed.  Today, I'm sharing a slimline card I made of a picnic cloth laid out with food and mice!

The stamped images were all coloured in using my Chameleon pens and then die cut using the co-ordinating die set.

The plates I created simply by die cutting 2 circles and adhering on top of each other.

I thought it was so cute how one of the mice is made so he fits inside the ring of the doughnut - just peeking out!

Peek-a-boo Pandas! - Daring Cardmakers DT

Happy Friday!

It finally rained from yesterday evening and I welcomed it with open arms!  We had a storm overnight and it's still raining - thankfully it has cooled down considerably.

This week the Daring Cardmakers have a Peek A Boo challenge going on and I decided to use one of my new slimline dies that has a clever window aperture in the set.  

I really enjoyed making this card and I have a little girl in mind to give it to as well!  I used the pandas who are getting ready for a birthday party as you can see!

My pandas were stamped and coloured in using my Chameleon pens then die cut and I added glossy accents to the eyes and glitter glue to some of the other accessories.

I think the part of the card I was most pleased about was the fact that I created a door from the window element - I even gave it a heart door knob and the panda peeking out is a cute addition isn't it?
